About Troop 162 |

Troop 162 is a boy-led troop that emphasizes leadership development. We are part of the Chillicothe District in the Tecumseh Council. Ever since our founding in 1931, Boy Scout Troop 162 has been affiliated with Wright-Patterson AFB. Our current chartering organization is the American Legion Post 526. The Troop has a rich history including sponsorship of the historic Wright Memorial Trail … a popular trek for many Troops throughout the Midwest region (click here for more info on the Wright Memorial Trail). To make it easier for scouts living both on and off the Air Force base, the Troop meets near Wright-Patterson AFB between Fairborn and Beavercreek OH (click here for a map to our meeting location).
